Personal Information

Βorn in Athens, Greece in 1980. In 2010, I received my Ph.D. from Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of University of Patras, Greece, in the field of Optical Grid Networks. I also hold a M.Sc. degree (2006) in "Integrated Hardware and Software Systems" and a Diploma (2003) from the same department. In 2015, I completed my post-doc on "Decomposing optimization techniqUes using Distributed computing technologiEs" in National Technical University of Athens.

From 2018 I am elected as an Assistant Professor at the department of Digital Systems of the University of the Peloponnese, where I teach data networks, optical networks and cloud computing.

I am member of  the High Speed Communication Networks Laboratory (HSCNL) of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and of the ΓΑΒ LAB at the School of Economics and Technology of the University of Peloponnese.

Research Interests

• • Optica Networks: multi-layer planning and operation, software defined networking, subsea networks

  • Cloud Computing and Networking: resource allocation, orchestration, federations  

  • IoT and Wireless Networks: multi-hop routing, pervasive games, smart homes
