Welcome! I am a Quantitative Finance Analyst with Enterprise Model Risk Management at the Bank of America. Previously, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Penn State for two years.

I received my PhD in Economics (with a Minor in Psychology) from the University of Minnesota in July 2020. Prior to that, I had completed another PhD (in Electrical & Computer Engineering) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014.

My research focuses on applying insights from psychology and various branches of ‘bioeconomics’ (e.g., neuroeconomics, genoeconomics, & evolutionary economics) to the more traditional fields in economics, such as public finance and macroeconomics. I strive to be a generalist in a world of specialists.

My private-sector experience also includes working as Senior Design Engineer at a nanotechnology startup and two internships with the data science team at Electronic Arts Inc., where I studied player behavior in virtual economies.
