About Me
I am currently working as an NLP Research Scientist at Bosch Research, India.
I completed by Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) . I was a TCS Research Fellow. My thesis was advised by Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh (IIT Kharagpur) & closely mentored by Dr. Kripabandhu Ghosh (IISER, Kolkata) . My doctoral thesis was on applying text and graph processing methods for different legal data mining tasks like case document segmentation, summarization & similarity.
I completed by Master of Science (M.S. by Research) from the Dept. of Computer Science and Engg. at IIT Kharagpur where I worked in cross-lingual information retrieval using word embeddings under Dr. Pawan Goyal & Prof. Sudeshna Sarkar.
I am broadly interested in Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Graph Representation Learning.

June 25, 2021 : Our paper "Incorporating Domain Knowledge for Extractive Summarization of Legal Case Documents" awarded Donald Berman Award for Best Student Paper at International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law (ICAIL) 2021.
