Oct. 1978 to Oct 1979 M.Sc. course in Educational Administration at Oxford University Department of Education Studies. The course included Educational Planning, Sociology and Educational Administration. I had to retake the examinations due to illness. The degree was awarded in August 1981.
Sept. 1973 to Oct. 1978 Appointed Principal Federal Inspector of Education With the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria. I was one of the founder members of the Federal Inspectorate Service, receiving a full 3 months training course in school inspection. I was posted first to Kano for two years, briefly to Sokoto on relief duty and in 1975 to Maiduguri to take charge of the Federal Inspectorate Office there. However, in 1975, I was promoted to Chief Federal Inspector of Education.
1968-1973 Appointed as Assistant Master, Mitcham Grammar School, U.K.
June 1969 Appointed Acting Head of Chemistry.
Sept. 1969 The school combined with Eastfields Secondary Modern School and became Eastfields Comprehensive High School for Boys under a re-organisation plan of the Local Education Authority.
Oct. 1969 Began a one year course at University of East Anglia to take an M.Sc. in Chemical Education. My thesis was "A Validation Study of the Gagne Taxonomy of Learning Processes with Reference to Retention".
Sept. 1970 Appointed Head of Chemistry, Eastfields High School.
1970-1973 Curriculum Development:-
a)Co-ordinated the re-organisation of the Chemistry equipment of the two amalgamated schools and ensured that the Chemistry laboratory was ready for a new "A" level Chemistry course Nuffield 'A' level Chemistry).
b) Organised at Eastfields High School (in co-operation with six other local schools) a CSE mode III Chemistry syllabus for less able Chemistry students.
c) Helped to teach the new SCISP Project.Eastfields was amongst the first schools to join this integrated Science scheme.
1962-1968 Senior Science Master, Gboluji Grammar School, Ile-Oluji, Ondo, Nigeria. I was in charge of the building and design of the school's Science Block which was made to my own design internally. I was also in charge of equipping the Science Block for all subjects. I taught Chemistry, Physics, Additional Maths, School Certificate level. During this period I was an Examiner in School Certificate Chemistry Theory for 3 years for the West African Examinations Council (W.A.E.C).
1966 After passing an inspection by the Western Region (Nigeria) Ministry of Education, the school was allowed to offer Science and Arts subjects to Higher School Certificate.
1966 I was appointed Vice Principal, Gboluji Grammar School. I taught Chemistry to Higher School Certificate level and Physics and Mathematics to Higher School Certificate level when the school was short of staff in these areas.
1960-1962 Assistant Master, Sir Roger Manwood's School, Sandwich, Kent. 1962. One week course in August 1962 on "Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy" at Windscale, run by U.K. Atomic Energy Authority.

(1) Project Name: Western Samoa Secondary Teacher Professional Development Project (WSSTPDP)
Location: Western Samoa. Years: 1991-1994
Position: Environmental science education consultant for the WSSTPDP and employed by International Project Management Unit, Darwin, NT .
Duties: Writing In-service materials to train secondary teachers in environmental science. Providing the in-service sessions.
