Purpose
The purpose of this web site is to provide a means of communications for Tuesday Paddle Group such as Paddling, Hiking and Camping primarily in the Central and Central West Coast areas of Florida.

Please arrive in time (no later than 7:45 AM) to unload and be ready to start shuttle or paddle at 8:00 AM or 7:45 if everyone is ready.
Best to arrive about 7:30 AM.

Special Note-- Due to the fact that a large percentage of Tuesday's paddlers are fully vaccinated and as recommended by the major participants in the Tuesday Group we will start running shuttles again.
However, there could be people in the shuttle vehicle who are not vaccinated.
For those who are not vaccinated---Don't forget Social Distancing of at least 6' --- it is easy to forget.
Each person is responsible for there own Covid-19 safety.
However, wearing a mask during the shuttles is optional.

Crystal River--Hunter Springs --Three Sisters -- Plus several other points of interest
Meet at Hunter Springs.Park in Crystal River. Note: $5 Kayak launch fee & $5 parking fee.
Park does not open until 8AM.
No Shuttle required. Please arrive a few minutes before 8AM.
Paddle: This will be a follow Iris paddle. She knows this area extremely well.
We will launch at Hunter springs and paddle to Three Sister and several other springs and points of interest. Then return to Hunter Springs take out.
Paddle Distance: About 8 to 10 miles.

Wysong Dam to Marsh Bend Park & Lake Panasoffkee
Meet at Wysong Dam.
No Shuttle Required. Please arrive in time ( no later than 8:45 AM) to unload and be ready to start paddle at 9:00 AM or 8:45 if everyone is ready.
Best to arrive around 8:30
Bring lunch, bug spray and usual gear.
Difficulty: Moderate, due to upstream paddling.
Paddle Distance: About 9 to 11 miles.
Directions: From the South take I 75 North to Hwy 470. Go West on 470 to Rd 302 (Sumter Rd). Turn left onto RD 302 then a quick right onto RD 300. Continue on Rd 300 to Wysong Park & Boat Ramp (NW 46 RD).
From The East: Take Hwy 44 East from Inverness to Hwy 470. Turn right (South) onto Hwy 470 continue to RD 300. Turn right on RD 300 to Wysong Park and Boat Ramp.
