The Wellesley SEPAC and the Wellesley Public Schools Student Services Department invite families to attend a joint presentation to learn more about two specialized programs supporting students across the district: the Launch Program and the Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC).
Friday, January 9, 2026
Regis College, 1st level of the Student Center
The Launch Program serves young adults ages 18–22 and is located on the campus of Regis College. The program supports students as they prepare for adulthood, with a focus on education and training, employment, independent living, and social development. Students participate in real-world learning experiences, supported employment, and community-based activities designed to build independence and confidence.
The Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC) is program serving students in grades K–8 who require intensive academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support. TLC is an inclusive program that supports students in developing emotional regulation, social skills, and academic engagement while spending a significant portion of their day in general education classrooms.
This presentation is intended to help families better understand the purpose of each program, the students they serve, and how they support learners at different stages of development. Time will be provided for questions and discussion.
We hope you will join us for this informative and collaborative conversation.
Regis College will be on winter break, and parking will be available in any open space. We will greet attendees at the Student Center entrance on the first floor and then proceed to our meeting location on the second level, next to Admissions. Please see the map below for details.

The Wellesley SEPAC plays an important advisory role for Wellesley Public Schools (WPS) on matters regarding special education. SEPAC officers meet regularly with district administrators, as well as participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of special education. We need your help to shape educational policy and special education in the district. SEPAC meetings are open to all--regardless of whether your child is enrolled in a WPS school or has a signed IEP or 504 Plan.
After the formal meeting concludes, we invite you to stay to meet other parents in the community who can answer questions and offer support when it comes to navigating this complicated and sometimes isolating world of IEPs and 504s! We have a mix of daytime and evening, in-person and virtual meetings. We hope you can join us!
