5 lessons $150 offered weekly on Saturday April 20- May 18
5 lessons $150 offered Mon- Fri for 1 week.
8 lessons $224 offered Mon- Thur OR Mon- Fri (no Wed) for 2 weeks.
16 lessons $416 offered Mon- Thur for 4 weeks.
Beginner
Parent Tot Beginners, 18 to 36 months
Swim Tot 100- Beginners, ages 3 & 4 years old.
Swim 101 Beginners, ages 5 to 7 years old.
Swim 102 Beginners, ages 7 to 9 years old.
Description
While training at the beginner level your child will learn to "swim like a fish" thru a practice-oriented approach with skill progressions for the following:
First-time Submersion
Breath Holding
Breath Control
Front Kicking
Back Kicking
In-line Kicking
Paddle Stroke
Underwater Swimming using a "Pop-up" Breath
Underwater Swimming using a "Roll-over" Breath
Upon mastering the beginner skills, your child will advance to intermediate where they will learn to swim the formal strokes of Freestyle with Side Breathing and Backstroke
Most students ages 4-7 will spend several sessions in the beginner level
Weather Procedures
If swim classes will be cancelled due to weather we will send out an email to each class.
When thunder or lightning is first noticed, pool activities will be suspended and pool will be evacuated until 30 minutes after the last sign of thunder or lightning. The distance from a facility to an approaching thunderstorm can be five to eight miles away, but lightning can strike from a much farther distance. Classes will be rescheduled for a later date. Make up dates will be emailed out to all families. The pool area will be reopened 30 minutes after the last sign of thunder or lightning.
Intermediate
Adv Swim Tot 200 - Ages 3 & 4 years old
Swim 201 - Ages 5 to 7 years old.
Swim 202 - Ages 7 to 9 years old.
Prerequisites
To enroll in PAC intermediate swim your child should be able to comfortably swim 15 feet without the aid of any flotation device, face in the water, & breathing as needed.
Description
While training at the intermediate level your child will learn how to swim the formal strokes of freestyle with side breathing and backstroke. The Freestyle Side Breathing skill may be the most important skill one learns in the learn-to-swim process. The intermediate level is practice-oriented with skill progressions for the following:
Kicking with the Kick board
Back Kicking
Streamline Kicking
Backstroke
Freestyle
Upon mastering the intermediate skills, your child will progress to the advanced level where they will learn to swim Butterfly and Breaststroke.
Inclusive Swim Lessons $150
Designed for parents to join students in the pool with the instructor. One or both parents are welcome to join their child in this class to learn basic water skills to eventually help their child transition into our standard intermediate class.
