Is your family interested in joining scouting?
If you have any questions please contact our Pack and we'd be happy to discuss scouting with you personally.
Who can join Cub Scouts?
Boys and Girls from Kindergarten-5th grade can join Cub Scouts. We are open to all potential families. You do not need to live in a specific area to become part of our troop.
What do Scouts learn?
Scouts complete different adventures to develop character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness. Many activities focus on the outdoors. Each grade has different age-appropriate activities to build their skills. For the bicycling adventures, our younger Scouts learn how to properly wear a helmet; whereas, older Scouts learn more complex skills like how to inflate a bicycle tire.
How are Scouts organized?
All of the K-5 Scouts are called the Pack. The Pack meets once per month, usually Sunday, at the Dorseyville Alliance Church on Saxonburg Boulevard.
Kids are divided into Dens by their grade. Each grade has a meeting once a month to build age appropriate skills.
