Whenever you see someone in uniform, you get a quick sense of who they are and what they do. Cub Scouts wear uniforms to promote a sense of belonging and equality, and foster mutual growth among boys and girls in the pack.
The field uniform (aka the Class A) is worn to all Cub Scout events including Den meetings, Pack meetings, and trips.
Boys and girls should look neat and clean with shirts tucked in.
The Class B uniform is a pack t-shirt or generic Cub Scouting t-shirt. It's worn when there is going to be a high activity level event or good potential for getting dirty.
We do not recommend adhesives like "Badge Magic" because they can fall off in the wash and also stain the uniform making it hard to use again for a younger sibling or scout.
Please ask about the Uniform Assistance Program if you have a financial need.
