Pack 31 is comprised of boys and girls, mostly from Corl Street and Easterly Parkway Elementary Schools but also from other local schools.

All boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome!

                                                                        Join at any age.

We are part of the Nittany Mountain District of the Juniata Valley Council of Scouting America and are chartered through the State College Rotary Club.

Cub Scouting emphasizes learning by doing and each rank is tailored to the scout’s age.

Each child is assigned to a den based on school age:

Lion Cubs - Kindergarten

Tiger Cubs – 1st Grade

Wolf Cubs – 2nd Grade

Bear Cubs – 3rd Grade

Webelos – 4th Grade

Arrow of Light - 5th Grade

The dens are led by parents / leaders and usually meet twice a month.

Together, all of the dens make up the pack. The scouts and their families come together for a pack meeting once a month.

At the pack meeting, scouts are recognized for their achievements. The meeting includes opening and closing flag ceremonies and fun activities related to the monthly theme.

 Some of the activities we have offered in the past include:

                                • Scouting for Food

                                • Pinewood Derby

                                • Klondike Derby

                                • Family Campouts and Hikes

                                • Summer Camp
