Acceptable Browse Recycling: 

With the following exceptions unused or unconsumed browse may be recycled from one exhibit and utilized for animals in other exhibits.  Unused browse that has not been in an exhibit with an animal may be recycled with no water wash-down.  Unconsumed browse that has been in an exhibit with an animal should undergo a water wash-down with a powerful hose to minimize biosecurity risk from infectious pathogens.

Exceptions: 

• Browse from domestic hoofstock may not be recycled to other hoofstock.

•  Browse from elephants may not be recycled to any other animal or exhibit.
