Objective B
*One immediate source of short-term data is SMART Response results. I am able to adapt my teaching immediately based on student responses to questions. This is especially good for students that are too shy to raise their hand or speak in front of the class. I can also use warm-ups to adapt my instruction for that day (review or do not review).
*A long term data that I use for the class is safety and abilities to use tools. I use test results from the safety test to determine if a students understands what it means to be safe. I also use their behavior around tools, and a students use of them. If students have trouble with a simple tool, early in the semester, then they will be partnered up or receive teacher assistance when using larger tools. I also use performance on projects to adapt teaching in the next semester. I have used performance in the course from a previous semester to decide on a new pacing guide.
