The pottery accompanies the peoples for about 30000 years. Nowadays, apart from the industrial pottery, the pottery became a creative hobby.
The key equipment of a hobbyist is a kiln for firing and glazing. There is lot of kilns available. Among others the German company Vielhaben manufactures kilns for hobbyists and professionals.
We have purchased kiln Type 1220. We are very satisfied with the kiln but we have seen immediately that the controller is old fashion and does not fulfilled expectations on modern electronic devices.
This motivates us to develop a new own controller and replace the standard one.
What Makes Us Unique
Pottery is our passion. We understand the firing and glazing process. We experiment with different clays and glazing, especially with Raku pottery.
Because of that we know exactly the requirements on controllers for the pottery kilns.
During the firing process, we like make a rest: listen music, read a book or just drink a beer. That's why we equipped the controller with a blue-tooth to be enable to follow the firing remotely using a smart phone.
