Scholarships

There are numerous scholarship opportunities available to the students in Ottawa Township High School's Agriculture Department! Please see below for more information.

First off, every day students are presented with the "Daily Digest"

This slideshow at the start of class allows students to see scholarships that have been mailed to the Agriculture Department. These mailings come from different schools (community colleges, universities, trades schools, etc.) and they come from different agriculture companies. Students are informed of the scholarship titles and due dates through the Daily Digest.

Second, students are informed of scholarships through the OTHS Counselors Department. Room 203 does a great job of continually posting scholarships that are sent to their office. Some are local and others are not, giving students a variety of opportunities to apply for.

Finally, students that are active in FFA have the chance to win multiple scholarships. Some of these scholarships come through the Ottawa FFA Alumni Boosters group, some come through the Section 7 FFA for winning contests, and even more come through the National FFA. The National FFA Organization gives out more than $2.7 million annually to active members.
