About me

I am an Assistant Instructional Professor in the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics and the College at The University of Chicago

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Houston, I obtained a MS in Economics from El Colegio de México and a BS in Agricultural Economics from Universidad Autónoma Chapingo 

I previously worked as an economist at the Research Department of the Central Bank of Mexico. My primary research fields include Labor Economics, Applied Econometrics and Economics of Education
