Cally Niess, a sophomore at Iowa State, came up with the idea of a Chemo Bag for anyone going through chemotherapy after her mother’s battle with breast cancer in March 2009. It started as a 4-H project and has since expanded locally, statewide, and even nationally. Cally sews the bag and then fills it with supplies that are needed while going through chemo. Each bag costs around $40 to make and fill up. We are hoping to help Cally collect items to make and fill more bags.

Thanks to everyone that has supported Cally's Cause now for three years!!

If you know of someone needing a Chemo Bag, please email niess@osage.net or andieolson@gmail.com with their information.

Again, thank you!!!
