i. Description

Here you will get step by step procedure to create a fresh webcat in OBIEE 11g in procedure section.

ii. Procedure

1. Go the OracleBIData directory /OracleBIData/Web/Config.

2. Edit your instanceconfig.xml.

3. Edit the content between <CatalogPath> and </CatalogPath> tags.

4. Overwrite the catalog name to the new name with which you want to create the catalog.

5. Save the file.

6. Restart the OBI services.

7. This automatically creates the new catalog file after we start the presentation services.
