Ever wish you could simply control your BeatBuddy from your phone? This nifty tool allows that. You can use it as a standalone tool when learning or practising a song and once you are happy with what you hear, you can save the settings to the current song, so that they are called up when you show the lyrics.
The dials can be rotated to the appropriate value, or fine adjusted using the +/- buttons. When rotating dials, updates are only sent to the BeatBuddy when your release the control (to avoid overwhelming the BeatBuddy).
The tempo control also acts as a tap tempo control.
Tapping on, or changing any control will update the BeatBuddy (obviously this has to be connected using the MIDI page and the correct MIDI channel selected on the BeatBuddy settings page (unless your BeatBuddy listens on all channels).
If you have synchronised your SD card with OpenSongApp, you will see the correct songs and drum kits on your device.
If you don't want values to save to your song (e.g. volume and headphone volume), you can long press the rotary dials to disable them from saving (you will see them faded). They will still be active and can still control the BeatBuddy, but will not save to the current song. If you have already saved these values to the song, the dials will show fully again.
You can minimise/maximise the controller using the button at the top of the screen.
