01 About this site

This site exists because a blog post I wrote back in April 2010 (and to which I've subsequently added) has become a bit long for a blog post! While I accept it'll probably never be complete my intention is to have a good record of open air cinema information in London - historic, current and coming up - organised in a variety of ways which I hope is clear. I'm also keen to capture other interesting film-related information and so include some independent venues which are not open air. My reasoning is that people interested in open air cinema may well be interested in other non-mainstream ways of showing films. And it's my site :)

I'm currently importing stuff from the blog post into this site but in the meantime I recommend using the search facility or asking me on Twitter @JoBrodie
