If you have read and enjoyed one of these books, there are other young adult books that you might enjoy. Young adult books are generally shorter than books written for adults. Young adult fiction often has interesting themes like how we treat each other as people (like The Boy in the Striped Pajamas), what our world would be like if we had no pain and no conflict (like The Giver), or the importance of tradition and gender roles (like The Whale Rider).
