Lessons are taught in a very systematic and structured way by renowned Indian violinist, Mr. Karthik
Carnatic music notation will be provided to all students and video tutorials for violin lessons (option available in payment section)
Students are expected to have their own violin before requesting for an online appointment. The following apps acts as a useful aid in learning process: Metronome – TalaBox Android, Shruthi box – Tanpura Droid
Duration of each class would be of 30/60 mins.
Classes are being conducted online through SKYPE. Students are expected to download the required software themselves. Reliable internet connection with good speed, a good head-set with microphone and a silent environment, are some of the other conditions students are expected to take care of
As the student commences to learn Carnatic music, the growth curve includes the following levels: Basic music exercises (Varases, Alankaras), Geethas, Varnas, Krithis, Manodharma sangeetha and finally Ragam Thanam Pallavi. Learning theory happens in conjunction with practical for all the different levels. New lessons are taught depending on the student’s ability to progress to the next level

Level 1: Beginner, Duration: 6-8 months
