THE ART PROGRAM:

Our Lady of Mercy

Led by Robin Schmidt, OLM’s Art Program excels in encouraging creativity and exposure to many styles of Art.  A variety of mediums are introduced and mastered throughout the grades.  The primary grades are taught ”How to Draw” and are encouraged to practice at home. Art History and the Masters are featured in many of our projects.

A variety of cross-curriculum projects involve art.  Throughout your child’s years at OLM, we will journey around the world for various folk art techniques to augment their Social Studies and Language Arts curriculum.  There is often a writing component involved with their art projects to enhance and further express their creativity.

We are truly blessed with generous funding for supplies and equipment to support our program.
