My first exposure to the world of teaching took place while participating in a tutoring program as I was attending the University of California, San Diego. Although I had been pursuing a career as a psychologist, I loved the experience of working with children so much that I decided to shift gears and set a new professional goal for myself: I would become an elementary school teacher.
Once I finished my undergraduate education, I went on to earn a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and a Masters of Education from UC San Diego. Since then, I have worked
diligently to hone my craft while teaching grades K-6 in San Diego, Vacaville, and Cupertino. I count myself as incredibly lucky to spend each day doing a job that I love with people I deeply care about!
In my free time, I enjoy spending my time outdoors (hiking, bicycling, camping, kayaking), reading, cooking healthy food, enjoying & creating art, and spending time with my husband, pup, and two cats.
