Antenna switching

Usually feature of antenna switching is located in pad on right side of standard RCFORB's client application layout. On my client is named KMtronic USB switch.

There you can do to switch antennas.

Verry important for right usage is that after switch the antenna or skip frequencies more than 25kHz is needful to retune by ATU button to adjust right SWR.

Sometimes happen that after retune proces system bypassed tuner and skip into BYP mode. That is marked that antena is in resonance and system not need tuner and is bypassed. But the push the ATU button is needful always when you frequence skip or antenna change.

Speciality is about working with 4SQ on 40m band. Is it possible to change direction W/E/S/N but is needful to do it in two steps always and keep on it . At first step click on current direction button to OFF it and at second step to click on needed direction to ON.

Till now I have not perfect adjusted impedance on each of verticals. By this the antenna impedance is not exact 50ohm and is possible to retune it also but to it has not so much big advantage in work.

The Vertical for 80m and 4SQ array 40m works verry good. With 100Watts I have more 200 DXCCs and on 40 and 80ms bands I have worked more then 140Dxcc on each in each of mode.

Is possible to working on 30 and 20m bands also but is needful to use InvL on 160m band like few-lambdas antenna vertical. Is it tunable and work well also. But only InvL works there.

On 160m band at this time I work normaly with USA and JA. That show this that antenna work also very well.
