openHPI: Social Platform for Interactive Online Courses in Information Technology
"OpenHPI has started on September 3rd 2012 with the online course In-Memory Data Management (English) taught by Prof. Hasso Plattner, founder of HPI, co-founder of the software giant SAP and chairman of its supervisory board. From 13,126 participating learners, 2137 earned the graded certificate. This course is currently in archive mode. Videos, slides, self tests, and discussions are available for your self-study.
The current openHPI course, an introduction to "Internetworking with TCP/IP" (German) by the director of the HPI, Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel, runs from November 5th to December 24th 2012.
You can already enroll to openHPI's next course, starting on Monday, February 4th 2013: "Semantic Web Technologies" (English) by Dr. Harald Sack, senior researcher at HPI.
openHPI will gradually be expanding its online course offerings. Those who are registered will be informed regularly of the current status.."
