Activities
There is always something going on at Ocean Village, whether it is playing trivia, water aerobics, or learning to paint. Please stop by the recreation office near the main pool and ask for the latest activities calendar or visit www.oceanvillage.com for more information.
Sports
You can play golf, tennis, bocce, ping pong, pickleball, and shuffleboard at Ocean Village. You can rent bocce, pickleball, and shuffleboard equipment at the recreation office. See the golf shack for cart and club rentals or the tennis office for racquets.
You can schedule a tee time or reserve a court for bocce, pickleball, or shuffleboard online. Set up an account at the recreation office then go to the www.oceanvillage.com to make your reservation.
LIbrary
Ocean Village has an excellent library located in the main building near the recreation office. There is also a selection of paperback books at the Cayman clubhouse.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcome at OV III if they are permitted by the unit owner, have a current rabies certificate and have been approved . Please see our Pet Policy page for more details and permission form.
Sea Turtles
Sea turtles in our area are an endangered species and we are in their nesting zone. Therefore, between March 1 and November 30, you must keep all window coverings closed from dusk to dawn. Fines are issued for noncompliance. These fines can be quite high and may be passed on to renters who are in violation. Please see our Sea Turtle Information page for more details.
Security
Ocean Village has 24 hour security. Contact the gate house at (772) 467-2901 if you have a security issue or after calling 911 for a medical, police or fire emergency so they can expediate the emergency vehicle.
Wristbands
Ocean Village wrist bands must be worn at all times while on property to access the pools, tiki bar, fitness center or sports venues. Please remember to wear your wrist bands with you when you leave your unit.
