Member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, Inc. Our members include residents of Oceanside NY and surrounding Long Island communities
The Oceanside Garden Club was established in 1941 to spread the knowledge and love of gardening, to beautify our home grounds and our community, and to encourage the preservation of natural resources.
We have 8 regular meetings and one fund raiser during the year. Our meetings at the Oceanside Library include guest speakers and are designed to educate our members and the community in the fields of horticulture, conservation, artistic flower arranging, and landscape design.
Due to the Oceanside Library construction, our meetings will take place in their temporary facilities in the Atlantic Ave. shopping center
Our Holiday Party took place Dec. 11th at Alias Smith and Jones in Oceanside
Floral designers from Flowers by Mike showed us how to create beautiful "Holiday Floral Arrangements" at our November, in person, meeting.
