This course seeks to understand the life of St. Eugene de Mazenod (1782-1861) and the significance of his charism for the Church and for all involved in the mission and spirituality inspired by him. 

A study of the main elements of the spirituality of St. Eugene de Mazenod and of those associated with his charism from 1816 until the present. An introduction to the terminology, issues, and challenges pertinent to the practice of and the theological reflection on this spirituality as it is expressed by the various branches of the Mazenodian Family. 

This course explores the foundation event and how the people involved in it discerned a charism of the Holy Spirit, which was expressed in the Rule of Life.

This course explores the Biblical and theological foundation of "oblation" and its expression in missionary discipleship through the study of various figures in the history of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. 

A study of the missionary expansion of the Congregation into five continents from 1816 until the present: the events, the reasons for the choices made, and the underlying spirit that motivated the missionary thrust.

A course designed to learn about the founder of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and the inspiration for the formation of a worldwide charism family of laity. Currently offered in English, Spanish, and French.

An accredited graduate level academic program designed to help students deepen their understanding of Christian spirituality. The concentration on Oblate Studies gives a specific focus.

Consists of six courses to acquire in depth knowledge of the constitutive elements of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and of the Mazenodian Family: the Founder, history, constitutions and rules, spirituality and mission.
