I am interested in how the matter in our Universe is made up of elementary particles and how the matter behaves under extreme conditions, such as the hottest early Universe, the densest compact stars, supernova explosions, and the coldest atomic gases.

My recent activities have been focused on (see also my publications or Japanese profile page):

・ Quantum chromodynamics (QCD)
・ Astroparticle physics (early Universe, compact stars, supernovae)
・ Applications of string-inspired dualities (gauge/gravity duality, orbifold equivalence)
・ Topological transport phenomena
・ Many-body physics

I am a member/organizer of Keio Topological Science Project and QCD Club.
