Hello everyone, my name is Rinpin Chang, I come from Malaysia.
The Taiwanese asking me why I could speak Chinese well? I gonna answer them I had learned Chinese been here, a short-period class. But actually I have never to do that. They shocked at Malaysian Chinese and amazed that we know too many languages. By the way, I just know how to speak Chinese (my mother language), English (international language) and Malay (my national language)...
My strength is Chinese calligraphy. I started to learn since I was 10-year-old. I had just learned the basic from two masters for both 1 year and this becomes my hobby and improved my interesting too. I will practice in often while I am free, today, I am honored to achieve a few of admire whenever in school or home, parents or teachers, even my friends. My parents and family are proud of me.
In addition, I do like to play badminton. In high school, I had a partner, he was my best friend in life and he also becomes my opponent in the game. The new no.1 badminton male player in the world is born in Malaysia, he called Lee Chong Wei. He raises our spirit and honor to the world. I gonna become like him, but I never do hard in the moment yet. Anyway, I hope the sport can become our honor and image.
Furthermore, I am interested in the lion dance too. Lion dance in Chinese World is becoming a tradition today, the legend said the evil and devil are very scared of the lion's face. Hence, we can see the lion dance in public every Chinese New Year (CNY), Chinese' style wedding, open house or workplace, someone is surrounded by "evil" etc, anything wanna blessing for someone or somewhere. Not for that only, the lion dance is improving to a higher difficulty level in the international competitions, and Malaysia is a stage to achieve the highest honor. The well-known lion dance team in Malaysia, Kun Seng Keng is responsibility for promoting the skills to the world, they have achieved about 45 and above come in first in the world competitions, as the perhaps said "work hard, play hard" and "no pain, no gain", they did...
On the other hand, I think the Malaysian foods are the points of views. The people say, "if you haven't tried Asam Laksa (or Bak Kut Teh), that's meant you never come to Malaysia," (or you never enjoying the happy hour in Malaysia), but in fact, Asam Laksa is ranked for the best food in Malaysia, the second is Bak Kut Teh. Besides, you can try the foods come from Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian etc, less pay more foods...
My educational experiences, started from kindergarten, primary school, secondary school in Malaysia, and today, university in Taiwan. The life is changed, and I must learn the truth, knowledge, intelligence, whatever things in university, and this is my responsibility as a student act like. In future, we will depend on whole of us, whatever is skill or knowledge, in the social, workplace, or anywhere, after we are graduated.
I always have a dream, a big dream, of all Malaysians' dream, that is we can stay together happily, like we return to our past memorizes, we always respect to each other, never count anything for our races and colors, we stay together peacefully. So, I think, if we really gonna become a real stronger country, not just improving our commercial only, but is our politic and the social, to become a real of "Satu Malaysia", this is our principle and responsibility, and this is an honor and image of Malaysia too. I can give up my whole, even my life, but I cannot give up for my dream.
