Course Description
Numerical Analysis  (MATH UMA007) is a one semester, upper-level module that emphasizes the mathematics used to design numerical methods, and to analyse their properties. Students also experiment with implementing algorithms in Matlab/Octave. Course credit are 4.5. The details are given in the Course Policies.

Tutorial Assignments:   1     2      3       4      5    (For Mid Term exam, students are expected to solve first four assignments and 1-3 problems from fifth assignment).                                             

Laboratory Assignments: Lab_Matlab

Students are required to take print of the lab file and attempt to solve the assignments in each lab.

  2. You are expected to do all assigned problems. You may need to do additional problems for practice.
  3. You are expected to read the textbook as we cover the material.
