Preparing video lessons that combine theory and lab on Linux : Preparing video classes, especially lab demos, when someone else is not there to hold the camera or there are multiple cameras, say one looking at the procedure while another one looking through the microscope, among which you switch and sometimes a pdf file you with ability to write on for explanation can be daunting. Here is what I learned from experience.
NSYSLab tracker: This tracker program allows you to track colored (red, green, blue, dark, white, rough texture and shape) objects in a video when they are on a contrasting background (color, shade, texture or shape). It allows correction of tracks and retracking. It also allows you to compute something about an AOI in each frame. Write to me if you need to use it.
