Education
Education
You can find master naturalists assisting at public events such as Hokie BugFest, as well as staffing informational tables at gatherings across the New River Valley. We give trainings to members and presentations to groups upon request that help educate our communities about natural resource conservation and living with wildlife.
Invasive species
Invasive species
Our volunteers remove invasive species from areas such as Virginia Tech's Stadium Woods and Pandapas Pond Day Use Area. We also establish native species and habitats wherever possible.
