Protibadi

It is a technology design to support women facing sexual harassment. We initially developed a website and later worked towards a wearable device. I have collaborated with Dr. Ishtiaque Ahmed and Dr. Hasan Shahid Ferdous on this project at the beginning. Then a bunch of students joined to work on it. Azmeen joined as a young faculty and  Nabila, Nabila, Shareen, Rahat, Tanvir worked on it as students.  I probably don't have research members who have not worked on this for a while! It has been a passion project and we worked on it without any external funding - every minute dedicated it is counted as an activism against this violence that takes place on regular basis.

The work started in Bangladesh but we later explored regions in South Asia including India and Pakistan and the situation is equally bitter for women.
