Ancestors

Here your will find links to the detailed stories of my ancestors living in Norway in 1865. The stories covers where they were born, and information about their parents and siblings. I have included some facts like when and where they were christened and had their confirmation, with copies from the church books. And, of course, information about their husbands or wifes, their marriages and death, and you will also find some information about their children, if they had any.

Great great grandparents

Going back to the year 1865, the stories will have to describe the life of my great great grandparents. Since we all have eight sets of great great grandparents, you will find eight stories describing my ancestors life on this website. As a bonus (!), you will also find eight more stories, which are the stories of my husband's great great grandparents.

Family map

My ancestors came from several places in Norway. You will be able to follow them on the map belonging to their story, but in addition to that, the Family map shows all the ancestors together in one map giving you the possibility to visualize their stories even better.
