NWBCC is a member of the 'Western Counties Photographic Federation'.

The WCPF holds a number of club and individual level competitions and events throughout the year.

Member Clubs and their respective members are encouraged to participate.

The WCPF, in turn, is a Regional Federation within 'The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain'.

The  PAGB has cross-representation with the 'Royal Photographic Society'.

Note - The RPS has relocated to Paintworks, Bristol, where it has a public exhibition-space.
