On August 6, 2016 North Star Ballet celebrated our much-loved Ms. Sue's life with an impressive gathering of dancers, alumni, friends, and colleagues. The celebration began with a huge ballet class of over 55 dancers, spanning about a 65-year age range! Wendy Langton organized the class so that Ms. Sue-style combinations were taught by alumni — so much fun! The class was followed by a beautiful gathering at the Musher's Hall, with speeches, photos, videos, and memorabilia celebrating Ms. Sue's amazing life and many talents. The room was overflowing with love and respect for this truly one-of-a-kind woman, who touched all of our lives so profoundly.
Use the links below to access Google Photos Albums of Ms. Sue's Celebration and a video of her dancing with husband, David! Sadly, there is no way to auto-label the photos with file names, but if you click on a photo and then the info tool, you can see the title. Please feel free to add your photos to the Ballet Class & Musher's Hall Albums! Let me know if you have technical problems — Enjoy!!

Video of Sue Perry Jordan with BalletMet, dancing with her husband, David. The piece, "Farmer's Bride", was choreographed for her by David. Not sure of the exact date, but probably in the 1980s.
