Graded Championships

 The Graded Championships are open to norths Squash Club members and are played mid year. Players are allocated a grade depending on their squash ability and will play in that grade (or, on request and numbers permitting, also the grade above). Each player will play a minimum of 2 matches.  

Graded Championships

The draw will be conducted as a round robin style with points awarded for both participation and wins. There are prizes for the winners and runners up of each division. Additionally, the winner of each grade has their name put on the honour boards in the viewing gallery of the courts and the squash club website.

Please email results to your Club Captain as soon as possible after playing so that we can update the online draw as the competition progresses.

All matches are in the same format as pennant games (‘point a rally’ to 15 points, best of 5 games, unless BOTH players agree to play to 11 points as per PSA format).

Games must be won by 2 points (e.g. 15-13, 16-14, 17-15, 18-16 etc). Games are to be refereed and scored by you and your opponent unless you arrange a referee prior to your match. 

Please arrange the time for your match with your opponent at an agreed day and time. Make a court booking through the internal club booking sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E8QqOI3fUihqgFA5zM_Nnufhz7tU6xVLxN-WHrD_WBQ/edit ) or book a court through norths Fitness (note: court booking made through norths Fitness will incur a cost).

Matches can also be played at other venues if required. While matches may be scheduled as convenient, they must be played in sufficient time for the finals to be held at the scheduled time.
