We support each child's right to be treated as an individual and allow the child to develop and proceed within out program at the his/her own speed without regard to race, religion, cultural heritage or ability.

Our setting: in an antique red barn on historic Route 6A contains 2 classrooms designed specifically for North Side. It is filled with wonderful assortment of blocks, manipulatives, housekeeping, dramatic play, science, , books, and art equipment. Our deep backyard with tall trees, climbing equipment, riding toys, swings , and a mud kitchen. There is plenty of room for all to run, run, and run.
Our Staff: Laurel Galvin, Director, has 20 years of professional experience in educating young children. Staff members have a story educational background in child development and are experienced in the field. Our staff /child ratio 1/7 provide maximum interaction between children and teachers.
Our Program: is designed to meet and foster the developing learning and social skills of preschool children. We adhere to Massachusetts guidelines for developmentally appropriate curriculum, based on various themes presented throughout the year. At planning meetings learning skills dramatic play, books, art activities, and snack time are cued to the themes to maximize the children's involvement. Our format of active play, quiet time, individual time, group time, indoor and outdoor activities, provides a balance , flexible, predictable setting for the children.
Daily Schedule
North Side follows the Dennis/Yarmouth school calendar and opens at 8:30 am and closes at 4:00pm. Usually our young children attend two days a week. (Tuesday and Thursday) .The older children attend 3 days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We also offer a five day program
Summer Program
The summer program follows a rhythm that is similar to our school year and serving children ages 2 years 9 months to 6 years. Our summer preschool is staffed with the same high quality teachers who work in our school year program. All the staff are CPR and First Aid certified. Our professional educators will engage your child in various outdoor games, water play and enrichment activities. We look forward to welcome your child to a fun and exciting summer of play and learning. Please join us this summer

Our hours are 9:0am to 4:00 pm on Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday for 6 weeks.
