Dedication ceremony to Michael P. Murphy.

The the Chief's office and the board of fire Commissioners will be holding a ceremony dedicating a new unit to Lieutenant Michael P Murphy of the United States Navy on May 20th at 4 p.m..

In honor of Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy we will be dedicating a new unit 5-17-2 in honor of his bravery and ultimate sacrifice.

Lieutenant Michael P Murphy is it Patchogue native has received the Medal of Honor for his ultimate sacrifice. His story inspires and humbles all that hear it. We honor his bravery and courage.

The Chief's office asks all that are paying tribute that are EMS, Fire or Military to please wear Class A uniforms.
