Bringing Donations to the Book Seller or Clancy Library

Please limit your donation to 1 box per month per household which can easily be carried into the Clancy Library during open hours for approval of material donation guidelines. We appreciate your support by not using the drop boxes for donations which are solely intended for returning library items.

Donations are Tax Deductible

At your request, library staff or Book Seller volunteers will provide you with a donation receipt for tax purposes. The Friends of the Library and library district staff cannot legally determine the value of your donated items.

Items donated to the Book Seller and Library District will either be added to the collection or passed on to the Friends of the Library’s Book Seller who will sell them to raise money for the Children’s Summer Reading Program and other needs of the libraries. Cash donations to the Friends of the Library North are gladly accepted.

Thank you so much of thinking of us and for your support of the

Friends of the Library North. Please contact Friends of the Library or library district staff with any questions or concerns regarding our materials donation policy.
