Neighborhood Information

Here are some friendly reminders from the NFHOA Board:

• Please do not plant anything in the common areas.  This includes the berms and plantings at  the front entrance.  Anything planted in these areas not authorized by the NFHOA can be removed.

• Garage sale signs are permitted to be put at the entrance but must be removed at the conclusion of the sale. 

  1. For Sale signs are not permitted to be placed on the berms or other common areas.  They must be placed on the lot that is for sale and not in the right-of-way.

  2. Open house signs are permitted at the entrance but must only be present during the hours of the open house.

  3. All signage must conform to the Town of Normal ordinances.

• Please leave your sidewalks clear from vehicles or other objects so that children and others avoid having to detour on to the streets.

• Please remember to clean up after your pets.

• Keep your sidewalks clear of ice and snow

• Town of Normal garbage cans should should be placed 3' away from other cans and objects.  Please remember the Town's ordinance forbids storing them in the front of the house.  Please store them in the garage or shield them from your neighbors' view.

• The board's primary purpose is to maintain the entrance and the berms, any noise issues or other complaints should be dealt with neighbor to neighbor or visit the Town of Normal's website to register a complaint.
