HISTORY
On June 1988, North Fairview Elementary School started as an annex of Fairview Elementary School. It was composed of three-room Pre-fab building, which stood with approximate land area of 4,204 square meters, located at the corner Avon and Astor Street, North Fairview Subdivision, Quezon City. It was officially used in June 1989. Two buildings were built, donated by the Quezon City Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, after a year the other building was built with two storey building with six classroom from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Fairview Elementary School Annex was created on July 1993 under the supervision of Mrs. Dolores Leonor as Teacher-In-Charge due to tremendous increased of the enrollment. She was given two buildings and started with eleven (11) teaching staffs and seven hundred seventy-seven (777) pupils to serve.
On February 5, 1994, North Fairview Elementary School became independent headed by the newest school administrator - Dr. Dionisia H. Distor from 1994 - 1999 followed by four high caliber school principals, namely; Dr. Lilia C. Barrion, (1999-2002), Mr. Rodolfo B. Modelo (2002-2004), Mrs. Doretea R. Eseller (August 2004-July 2006) and Mrs. Corazon E. Queri (July 2006-October 2, 2009). On September 28, 2009, the school was hit and damaged by a Typhoon "Ondoy". The flood was up to the ceiling of the first floor and almost all the ancillary services, equipments and walls and some instructional rooms were devastated. In spite of the tragedy, the school is rising back again little by little through the support of PTA, NGO's and LGU and the school is turning back into brilliant place wherein classrooms are well ventilated conducive to learning. After the typhoon, Mrs. Leonida Orbito was assigned and started to run the school. She led the improvement of the school facilities through the harmonious cooperative teamwork among the school administrator, teachers, and parents, NGO's, LGU's and Barangay Officials as well. The school head initiated setting up different projects such as re-piping of water installation, putting grills at the 2nd floor of the SB building and computer room doors damaged by flood, construction of new washing area, installing new light bulbs in corridors, classroom and put up a new Audio-Visual Room.
