Please speak with your math teacher to find out when they offer extra help sessions before/during/after school.

Math Homework Club

All students are welcome to attend our daily Math Homework Club in room 108 at lunch for drop-in extra help with an NSS math teacher.

Peer Tutoring

Each semester, tutees (Northern students) are matched with a peer tutor who has previously taken the course the tutee is enrolled in.  Tutors and tutees will be able to meet during lunch or after school in the cafeteria. Session length and times are set by the tutor. After school tutoring will be available until 4pm. Students interested in signing up for Peer Tutoring should contact our Student Success teacher, Ms. Vibert.

Virtual Math Resources

Students and staff can use the Virtual Math Toolpage bit.ly/virtualmathtoolpage as a launch page to access TDSB-provided digital math tools (TDSB login required) 

TVO Mathify

TVO Mathify continues to offer free 1:1 tutoring sessions for students in Grades 6-12, offered by Ontario Certified Teachers, Monday-Friday 9am to 9pm ET and 3:30pm to 9pm ET Sunday. Students need to register using the Ontario Education Number (OEN) found on their report cards.
