Rehearsal Schedule:

• Swing Band (Director's invitation) - Tuesdays, 9 - 10 a.m.

• Red Band (Beginner/Intermediate) - Tuesdays, 9 - 10 a.m.

• Social & Refreshments: Tuesdays & Thursdays 10 - 10:20 a.m.

• Concert Band (Blue Band) - Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:20 a.m. - noon

• Woodwind Ensemble (Director's invitation) - Mondays 1 - 2  p.m.  (Contact Jaye Reistad at (618) 698-5152 for information.)

• Flute Ensemble (Director's invitation) - Thursdays 9 - 10 a.m.   (Contact Jaye Reistad at (618) 698-5152 for information.)

• Handbell Choir - Thursdays - 9 - 10 a.m.

Dues:

• Dues are $50 per semester.  Please get your check into Mark Johnson (Treasurer).  Checks can be made out to:  NHB of Northern Colorado.  You may also pay via "PayPal".  Just go to the "Donations" tab on this website and click on the blue "Donate Now" button.

Snack List:

• There is a sign-up sheet on the counter of the main rehearsal room next to the snacks.  Typically, members sign up (no more than once per semester) to provide snacks for social time.  Barbara S. will give you a reminder just prior to your turn.  

Band Uniforms:

• • Teal Polo Shirts - We will continue to use these for ensemble groups & concert band performances at elementary schools.  If you would like a back-up/additional shirt, tell Karen Tool and we’ll send in an another order. The first polo shirt is paid for by the band, the second will be approximately $20.

  • Black Long Sleeve Polo Shirts - These shirts along with black pants/black skirt will normally be used for concert attire, although the Director has the option to go with a more formal look as designated below under "Black Attire".  If you would like an additional shirt, tell Karen Tool and she'll prepare another order.  As with the Teal polo shirts, the first long-sleeve black polo is paid for by the band, the second is approximately $30.

  • Black Attire as described below may be worn for our formal band performances, however, the Director will verify the dress for each concert.

    • For Women - Black blouse/top, black pants/black skirt or black dress. If wearing a skirt or dress, the length should be below the knees when sitting.

    • For Men - A white shirt and tie and black pants;  a black tux or black suit jacket is appropriate, too.
