A huge "thank you" to the King of Glory Lutheran Church in Loveland who graciously offered their facility to our band as renovations were underway in our primary rehearsal location.  Pastor Ruth Ann, the Leadership Board, and Kathy Gustad, Administrative Assistant, were wonderful and enabled our group to rehearse for our upcoming season opening concert!

New Horizons International Music Association is an international nonprofit music organization providing seniors and anyone over age 50 an opportunity to play in a band.  Our local Northern Colorado group welcomes beginners (qualified instructors are available), and experienced musicians, past and present.  Many members played an instrument in school, but had set it aside for many years.  Others use the opportunity to try a new instrument.  Our musical groups include:  Concert Band (Blue), Intermediate (Red) Band, Swing Band, Dixieland Band, Woodwind Ensemble, Flute Choir, Clarinet Choir, Saxophone Quartet, and Hand bell Choir.

We meet from September through early May with rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Good Shepherd Church, 3429 N. Monroe Avenue, Loveland, CO  80538.  EmailNorthernColorado.NHB@gmail.com for details to join the band.

If you are a current/former musician, or have always wanted to be a musician in a concert band, email us  at NorthernColorado.NHB@gmail.org for more details on how to join.

Our band has once again been awarded a very generous grant from the City of Fort Collins Fort Fund to support our 2023-2024 season.  We want to thank the City Cultural Review Board for continued support of our unique community programs. Their efforts help make Fort Collins a special place.

The New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA) is celebrating 32 years of music making.  The city of Fort Collins supports many cultural activities including our group through the Fort Fund grant program.
