Our band has once again been awarded a very generous grant from the City of Fort Collins Fort Fund to support our 2022-2023 season. We want to thank the City Cultural Review Board for continued support of our unique community programs. Their efforts help make Fort Collins a special place.

THANK YOU!

Thanks to everyone who came out and watched our Fall Ensembles concert, our Concert Band Fall concert, or both this past weekend. We really appreciated your continued support of our band and really do love playing for you!

Our Christmas concert will be on Sunday, Dec 11th, 3 p.m. again at Ridgeview Classical Schools, 1800 S. Lemay Avenue in Fort Collins. Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and we hope to see you again soon!

New Horizons International Music Association is an international nonprofit music organization providing seniors and anyone over age 50 an opportunity to play in a band. Our local Northern Colorado group welcomes beginners (qualified instructors are available), and experienced musicians, past and present. Many members played an instrument in school, but had set it aside for many years. Others use the opportunity to try a new instrument. Our musical groups include: Concert Band, Intermediate (Red) Band, Swing Band, Dixieland Band, Woodwind Quartet, Flute Choir, Clarinet Choir, Saxophone Quartet, and Hand bell Choir.

We meet from September through early May with rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Good Shepherd Church, 3429 N. Monroe Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538. Email: NorthernColorado.NHB@gmail.com for details to join the band.

The New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA) is celebrating 30 years of music making. The city of Fort Collins supports many cultural activities including our group through the Fort Fund grant program.

Thank you for your support!

Our band really enjoyed playing for you all this past Sunday as we wrapped up our 2021 - 2022 concert season! Thank you all for supporting us throughout the season through your donations and attendance at our performances. We look forward to starting up rehearsals again in September 2022 and hope you will join us for an exciting 2022-2023 concert season. Our opening free concert is on Saturday, Oct 1, 2023, 3 p.m. at the Fort Collins Senior Center.
