New Horizons International Music Association is an international nonprofit music organization providing seniors and anyone over age 50 an opportunity to play in a band. Our local Northern Colorado group welcomes beginners (qualified instructors are available), and experienced musicians, past and present. Many members played an instrument in school, but had set it aside for many years. Others use the opportunity to try a new instrument. Our musical groups include: Concert Band (Blue), Intermediate (Red) Band, Swing Band, Woodwind Ensemble, Flute Choir, Clarinet Choir, a Saxophone Quartet, and a Brass Ensemble.
We meet from September through early May with rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Good Shepherd Church, 3429 N. Monroe Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538. Email: NorthernColorado.NHB@gmail.com for details to join the band.
If you are a current/former musician, or have always wanted to be a musician in a concert band, email us at NorthernColorado.NHB@gmail.org for more details on how to join.
