Workshop: A Practical Guide to Writing an NSF Proposal

Abstract: In the first part of the talk, I will outline the steps that you need to take to prepare and submit a grant proposal to the Division of Mathematical Sciences at the National Science Foundation. In the second part of the talk, I'll offer some strategies for writing an effective Project Description for an individual research grant. Questions, comments, and suggestions from the audience will be welcome.
