Not sure what Scandinavian Folk Dancing is? Find out more here: What is Scandinavian Folk Dancing? Our group primarily enjoys older Swedish and Norwegian folk dances such as hambo, polska, pols, polska and springar as well as the more modern waltz and schottis.

What's the music like? The best way to find out is to come to a dance, but you can read about it here: Traditional Nordic Dance Music. We always have fiddlers (regular and Norwegian hardanger fiddle), and sometimes singers and accordion players.

Sign up for announcements of upcoming dances and other Scandinavian events: join our Google group. (You have to be logged in to your gmail account to join directly. If you want to use a non-gmail address email NordicFN@gmail.com and we can add you.)
