On hiatus for the summer - we'll resume on September 3rd!
Interested in other Scandinavian dance that may be happening in the D.C. area? Want to learn more about Nordic cultures? Don't worry - there's plenty!
Scandia DC – This group is dedicated to the enjoyment of Norwegian and Swedish couple turning dances. Here is your opportunity to learn and do Scandinavian couple dances. This includes Gammaldans such as hambo, schottish, snoa (polka), mazurka, pols, reinlender, and Scandinavian waltz. There are also opportunities to learn and dance bygededanser (regional and village dances such as Telespringar, Bodapolska, etc.) from many different parts of Norway and Sweden. The group meets every 3rd Saturday of the month from September through May (with a break for the summer) at Greenbelt Community Center, Dance Studio, 15 Crescent Rd., Greenbelt, MD
